Leading Slovakian think-tank CENAA is pleased to announce Call for applications for its Summer University for Young Professionals.
The participants from Ukraine will be selected by the Foreign Policy Council “Ukrainian Prism”
The summer University is tailored for young professionals and experts from governments’ institutions (Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Defence), international relations and security policy NGOs, academia and media, between 25 – 35 years.
The Summer University is organized in the premises of Armed Forces Academy in Liptovský Mikuláš near the Low Tatra and Tatra mountains, from June 18-25, 2016.

Our goal is to contribute to professional development of young experts in the field of international relations, foreign and security policy.
The main topics to be covered during the week-long event will be:
- the NATO´s Warsaw Summit,
- challenges of the European security after the annexation of Crimea,
- NATO´s future strategies, partnerships, operations, enlargement,
- Trans-Atlantic relations,
- US foreign policy towards the Trans-Atlantic community with focus on presidential elections,
- Ukrainian reforms especially in the field of SSR,
- informational warfare and Russian propaganda and the quest how to counter them.
The working language of the Summer University is English, fluency is required.
CENAA is covering all costs related to travel, accommodation, meal, local travel and costs. Participants should cover their visa costs and pay a participation fee of 150 Euros upon arrival.
The deadline for applications is May 30, 2016. All applicants will be notified about the results of the selection by June 2.
