Ph.D. in Political Science (2004). Graduated from Institute of International Relations (Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University), where she obtained Masters Diploma in International Relations.
Works as a chief consultant in the Research Center for Russian Federation Problems (National Institute for Strategic Studies ( NISS, Kyiv). Current sphere of expertise – Russian foreign and security policy. Previous positions: head of foreign policy department in NISS (2008-2010) and chief of sector of European integration in NISS (2010-2013).
Olena took training and internship in PIR Center (Moscow, RF, 2007); George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies (Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, 2008); Strategic Economic Needs and Security Exercise (SENSE) (Warsaw, Poland, 2010) Slovak Foreign Policy Association (Bratislava, Slovakia, 2011); Ukrainian School for political Studies (Kyiv, Ukraine, 2012).
