The question of the EU involvement in the Ukrainian-Russian conflict settlement has been on the agenda since 2014 and the answers are still not clear. Is it the European Union as a whole or France and Germany who perform a mediation function? Should the EU launch a peacekeeping mission in Ukraine? What can the EU do except of sanctions? Here are some considerations on the current and potential future role of the EU and its involvement in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.
