Yaroslav Chornogor

Ph.D. in History

Graduated the historical and economic departments of the Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko  University (2001). In 2001 – 2004 was a postgraduate student of the historical faculty of Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University. In October 2005 he defended a thesis Ph.D. in History.

He is combining scientific researches with teaching at the National University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy”, Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine, MFA of Ukraine and other universities.

In 2004-2009 he worked at the Institute of World Economy and International Relations National  Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, аnd in 2009-2011 – at the Institute of European Researches of the NAS of Ukraine. Since 2012 is the Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of World History of NAS of Ukraine.

Participant and organizer of more than 70 scientific conferences and other scientific events, author of over 40 scientific publications.

Research interests:

• topical issues of Ukraine’s foreign policy,
• analysis of a comprehensive study of Belarus and the Russian Federation, political processes in these countries and their further transformation,
• issues of information security of Ukraine, countering Russian propaganda and disinformation.
